Paper or Plastic

I can't do it. I just can't do it. How do people read books on electronic devices?! I can't do it! I know it's the same stories, but to me reading on a kindle is cold and lifeless compared to the real thing. Maybe its just because I go to the bookstore so much that the smell is ingrained in my head or the fact that I get nostalgia from reading stories with well worn corners. Or maybe it's because I get this rush of adrenaline when I realize that the story is almost over and yet that plot hasn't been resolved yet or this sense of mystery I get when I can't remember when a paper cut appeared on my fingertips. All I can say is that reading on electronic devices is handy in terms of portability, but its not for me. Enjoy your plastic books and I'll enjoy my paper.
